Sophie Mill is one of the most sought after Artists and Art Tutor's in the Huner and with the NSW State Government recognising her extensive contribution to the Arts she was offered the Providership to full fill the large-scale gap that our children are missing out on.
That is:
1. How to Be Creative
2. How to Hold a Brush
3. How to Paint and Draw
4. How to Have the Confidence to Abstract Our Artworks

5. How to Look at an Artwork and Start Painting
6. How to Find Passion in Something That Requires Us to Wait 'for the Paint to Dry'
7. How to Move Forward in Our Painting
8. How to Move past Anxiety and like What Others May Not Admire
Each class is about having FUN with our concepts, language, ideas, and how to RELAX into the knowledge that we are ARTISTS at our deepest core and on our way to being the DEFINITIVE POLYMATHS.
Painting an original artwork takes courage, confidence, creativity, skill, insight , and logic; Passion is inter wreathed with all our emotions and thoughts. Having the technical skill to paint a picture is just a small proportion of what creating an artwork requires of us.
Art insists on us having the discipline to negotiate and work through our emotional and intellectual knowledge of what we absolutely believe to be right and correct and what we are confidently able to Abstract (change, manually maneuver, twist, negotiate) or simply keep our artwork as Nature has presented to us.
While design and art do share many overlapping qualities, they are two fundamentally different disciplines. They are created through two different processes, and they perform two different functions.
The introduction of the golden ratio and or Fibonacci numbers does weigh its significance in math, art, and nature. Being able to logically 'how the world of nature works' offers us a sense of relief, insight, and ease while being able to be a good draftsman and painter. Just like any puzzle, once we understand the layout, the rest will unfold before our eyes and offer our mind, body, and soul the 'passion' that so many people talk about but few have experienced.

This Class Is for All Students 4.5 to 18 Years of Age
